Nothing Hurts Now

I first came up with the concept for this piece back right before Valentine’s Day in 2010. I recreated the concept a couple of times in the intervening years but I was never satisfied with my past creations. Today I have made what could possibly be the final redux of this artwork. The title comes from a beautiful yet heartbreaking song by Magnet (Even Johansen). This artwork is dedicated to all those who have had their hearts broken so badly that they can no longer feel the pain.
